this God is enough
Numbers 11
The chapter 11 of the book of numbers bill something that happened with the people of Israel while they crossed the desert.
The people felt like eating meat. Of course this would be a normal situation in the life of any one, but this becomes a gigantic problem when we looked at the group and we see a great crowd, maybe among people's that walk in the middle of the desert two and three million.
When Moses saw the will of the people lost hope, asking God "of where would have me meat to give this whole people?"
The despair of Moses is so evident with this fact that he declares in the verse 14: "I cannot only take the this whole people, because very heavy it is for me" and in the verse 15 he asks God that the killed him.
It is amid this picture of total despair that enters in scene God that cares with those that serve him. God then says Moses that he should separate the elders' of Israel seventy men and to put them before the tent of the congregation that the Lord he would speak to Moses in front of them.
God then makes two promises to Moses. In the first promise he says Moses that would remove of the spirit that had put in Moses and it would put on the seventy elders so that they could divide the load that was on Moses. The second promise that God does is that the whole people would eat meat, however he would not eat little meat. God says that the people would eat meat during the next thirty days, but before this they would owe if it sanctifies.
When hearing this second promise of the part of God, Moses skeptic it is shown. In spite of already to have seen great marvels done by the Lord, Moses says: Will they "commit suicide for them sheep and cows that have enough them? Or will they join for them all of the fish of the sea, that have enough them?"
Even those people that already lived a lot of thing beside God can commit mistakes. Moses committed a mistake of evaluation of the power of God. He had already been instrument of God to open the sea, however front to a such grandiose promise of God he doubted. God then says to Moses: Would it have been shortened the hand of the Lord? Now you will see if my word must be accomplished or not."
The verse 31 brings something simply wonderful that God did to accomplish his word: "Then a wind of the remained Lord and he brought quails of the sea, and it almost spread them for the village road of one day, on a side and on another side, around of the village."
That amazes is acting of God! The Lord not only it accomplished what had spoken, but he made something besides the imagination. They were at the desert and the quails came from the sea that was far away from where they were. Besides, the quails came until them.
God is like this. He knows than you need and it is powerful enough to supply each need that you have or to solve any problem that you face.
God continues being the same; and his power continues infinite. He doesn't import what you face, light to the Lord all your concerns and He will make that that you are not able to. For love to you God will make the impossible to happen. Do you have doubts of this? If God didn't save nor to his own son to save him of the hell, what more He would not be capable to do for you?
Trust God, He gives your road to the Lord and everything the plus, He will do.
See you!
