___God, He never slow nor fails
John 11.1 to 16
There is a popular saying: "God tarries, but does not fail." But I want to tell you that God does not delay or failure. God is God, He is the Almighty, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. God knows not only the past, but also knows this and knows in advance what will happen in the future. Often the man is unable to understand is that God does not work with the Chronos but with the kairos.
The book of Proverbs says that "asare my ways higher than your ways, my thoughts also are higher than your thoughts". We will never be able to understand God's word.
The gospel of John, chapter 11, verse sixteen one speaks of one of the best known passages of the entire ministry of Jesus, the resurrection of Lazarus, whom the Bible itself says it is a person to whom Jesus loved. Examining in detail the passage quoted we can see some very important details which need to be considered.
Consider somepointsin the text:
1. John 11:3-"So the two sent a message to Jesus, saying," Lord, his close friend is sick and really sick." God is able to be very intimate with a person and this was not a privilege only of those great men who quotes the Bible. You can also have an intimate relationship with God, but know that even though God loves you very much, and the fights will be terrible. Do not think that God will deliver you all the time to face the difficulties, in some instances he will prefer to face thes truggles with you.
2. John11:4-"But when Jesus heard this, he said: The purpose of his disease is not death, but the glory of God. I, the Son of God will be glorified in this case." Everything has a purpose and face, in every struggle you face there is always something to learn. When difficulties a rise not ask God why, but ask him what there is to be learned in that fight.
3. John11:6- "still stayed where he was the next two days, after receiving news of the disease." Many times we think God is taking too long to get up to our aid, that God cares about our problem, but there are two things we cannot forget:
a. God loves you -John 11:5 says,"although He loved Martha, Mary and Lazarus..."Know that your learning does not only hurts you, hurts also in Jesus, but He loves you even have to wait the time it takes for you to learn what they have to learn.
b. God is willing to take risks all to be with you - John 11:8 says: "And the disciples did not want. Master said, only a few days ago, the Jewish leader sin Judea were trying to kill the Lord. How do you want to go back?"
4. John 11:11-"Then He said, Lazarus has fallen a sleep, but now I will go and wake him up." God sees your problem different from how you see. What to you is death to God is only numbness. Life for you may have writtenan end, but God comes and writes a new beginning.
5. John 11:35-"The tears came to his eyes of Jesus." God cares so much about you that even if he does not seem moved by your suffering.
6. John11:40-"Did not I tell you believe, you will see a wonderful miracle of God?" Do not despair, it may seem that God is taking, but know that God did not stand to help you because heis still have something to show you much more.
If Jesus had gone to meet his sisters when Lazarus warned him that he was sick, they had just seen a miracle cure, but because Jesus decided to hold a few more days where He was, Martha and Mary were able to see a wonderful miracle of resurrection, but it had to face the pain of seeing his brother suffer, die and be buried.
There is no impossible problem to be solved by God as there is no problem too big for God, but to see great miracles in our lives we have to face big fights, the only way we will be ready to see the glory of God manifest in our lives.
See you!
